Hi, my name is Julie Koo. (Korean Name is Min Ji)
I live in Shingil-dong, near Shinpoong station, Seoul.
I'm a graduate student, majoring 'Teaching Korean as a second language'.
Actually, I majored in French Literature at Catholic University long time ago. Now, I don't speak French at all except 'je t'aime'.
I'm always interested in learning English.
English is such a difficult language for me, though.
And, I have another special interest, which is psychology.
I have a certificate of MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator).
I can counsel people about their personality based on the result of MBTI.
I like the theory of C.G. Jung and Freud's Analytic psychology.

And what else I like...
I like reading a book, excercising Yoga, listening to music, driving nice road, sing a song, dancing, dringking fancy wine, watching movie, texting to my teacher, imagining something never happened, traveling, writing...

I wrote a poem at the New Year's day. I would like to introduce
my humble poem but I can't translate it into English.
I'll study English HARD and HARD so, I'll write an English poem someday.

I don't think I introduced myself enough.
Forgive my poor English.
I hope I can do it better, later.

I'm so glad you joinned our class last semester. It has been a privelage getting to know you and teach you. I know you will succeed in whatever you endeavor.

The last time we spoke, you mentioned you were going for your PhD someday. Is that still a goal of yours? Which field are you going to pursue further, Korean or psych? Maybe you could counsel me someday. I would love to learn more about peoples' personalites. By the way, what is your favorite part about Freudian theory? I studied him a little when I was an undergrad student at Gonzaga.

How was your second trip snowboarding? I hope it was less painful than the first. What is your favorite kind of wine? Could you share your poem after you translate it?

I am so sorry to hear that you lost the post you were working so hard on.

I've had the same thing happen a few times before, and it's a really terrible experience. It makes you so mad you could just throw your monitor out the window.

I don't know why it happens; it just does sometimes. I wish I could read what you wrote. I bet it was good. Perhaps in the future it might be a good idea to compose your posts on Microsoft Word and then cut and paste them here. It takes more time, but it's safer.

So, have you taken up any new hobbies this winter besides snowboarding? How is your winter going so far?
